What a perfect prompt this week! It's been the theme of the week here: waiting. Couldn't have been more perfect if I'd planned.
For 6 1/2 years, it has felt like we've been waiting. Waiting for babies, waiting for jobs, waiting for full time ministry, waiting for stability, waiting for a home. And since the wreck, it's just continuing. Now we're waiting for Hubby and Big Boy to start school in the fall. Those facts alone will change so much in our lives.
Is life ever settled? On this side of eternity, will we ever stop waiting? I know in our family, it feels like as soon as we receive one thing, we have another thing to wait on. In the same vein, though, wouldn't life be boring if we never had to work or wait for anything?
Then, of course, like my Monday Much-ness post, the most important Person we can wait on is Jesus.
STOP!

I love this! "On this side of eternity, will we ever stop waiting?" I've never thought about it quite like that, but that is so true. Thanks for sharing this post. Have a great weekend!
I agree with Amy - I love what you said about how we may never stop waiting on this side of eternity. I heard a quote one time about God making us restless here on earth because we know our home is in Heaven. Maybe all this waiting is to remind us of what we are really waiting for!
"Hurry up and wait" is the story of my life! Somehow keeping an eternal perspective helps bring balance and clarity.
So grateful you popped in on my blog and I hope we'll continue to get to know each other!! We'll have to thank Lisa-Jo! :)
